This episode of Game Closet is particularly not safe for work and contains sexual content and descriptions of insects mating. FYI this is not safe for work or for listeners under the age of 18.

This show is a proud member of the RPG Academy podcast network. You can find other amazing shows there like Swallows Of The South. Quinn Wilson and his amazing cast of players produce this heartfelt and melodramatic Exalted third edition actual play podcast set in a fantastical city, where emotions run as strong as the powers each character wields. I’ve been a raving fan of Swallows of the South since the single digit episodes and I am extremely humbled to consider someone as talented as Quinn my friend. I earnestly implore you to listen to Swallows of the South, it is a fine piece of art.

Hello guys gals and nonbinary pals and welcome to another episode of Game Closet, the show about queer and LGBT+ tabletop games and gamers. Tonight we have another Live Episode all the way from Acadecon 2016. Acadecon is a gaming convention run by the very same RPG Academy you heard mentioned at the top of the show, and is one of the most magical experiences I have ever been blessed with. I could fill an hour with talking about the blessing it was to go, but let’s just leave it at this episode, and say that I can’t wait to be there in 2017. Tickets are sold via a kickstarter that is set to go live April 13th, so mark your calendars. This is an actual play that was done at Acadecon, gathering a bunch of friends to play the marvelously disgusting game, Bugfuck, written by Caitlynn Belle. You can find the link to her patreon in the show notes. This is a recording of a convention game and, despite us finding a relatively quiet room for it, the audio is less than stellar. Well, with all that intro out of the way, let’s get to it.

Game Closet: interviewing LGBT+ people in tabletop gaming, creators, fans, anyone! Interviews would talk about personal experiences, games with (or without) LGBT+ representations or themes, or using queer content in gaming. You can also check out the articles mentioned in the show by checking out our collection of queer/LGBT+ roleplaying resources.
